For the intermediates (to advanced) we have an all-inclusive surf package where you can bring your own boards and test your skills with some the best surf breaks in the country. There are 17 surf spots to choose from, the brakes are not crowded and are highly consistent all year round.
If you are new to surfing, then this is a great place to learn. With our beginner surfing option surf programme you get hands-on surf instruction while learning proper surfing techniques necessary to consistently catch fun waves. At this surf location you find one of the best learn-to-surf waves in the world.

Beginners
For the beginners prepare to get wet with world class surf instruction while learning proper surfing techniques necessary to consistently catch fun waves. Our location features one of the best learn-to-surf waves in the world and when it’s time for you to depart our surf camp, you will have the surf skills and confidence necessary to surf on your own.
We go to great & safe beaches with mellow-breaking waves with a gradual sloped sandy bottom ideal to put you at ease before you are ready to hit the bit time on some of the more challenging breaks… The beginner spots we you have waves that are consistent and easy to ride.
For the Advanced Surfers
You will be right at home with some of the most amazing surf conditions, backed up with professional surf guides taking you to the best spots each day. Our partners in Costa Rica have a lot of experience in the local surf community and a unique philosophy to surf travel. We keep it intimate, exciting and above all unforgettable.

Our student to instructor ratio is only 4 to 1 – this is the key to improving your surfing skills. This allows us to provide the highest level of fun, safety and instruction in the water and on the beach..

Surf Everyday
Your surf guide will help you to find the best spot given the daily conditions and tide. The typical day involves waking up early and hitting the surf followed by a big breakfast. Lounge around the pool our surf the reef out front of the house mid day and then continue on for a sunset surf session. Feast like a king for dinner and pass out early – ready to take on another day of intense surfing. Just what a Costa Rica surf holiday should be all about.
Our location offers some of the best learn to surf waves in the world. Daily trips to beaches plus 1.5 hours per day of surf instruction(beginner package only)!

Not Recommended:
Arriving at San Jose International Airport. San Jose is the other option (and not recommended). If you do, our suggestion is to get a connecting flight with a local airline (SANSA or Nature Air) to Tamarindo airport or take the bus to Guanacaste. Daily flights are available and about $100 each way, but book way ahead, flights are usually crowded.
WARNING: Be careful as there are board bag restrictions and not allowed on some flights. Take into consideration the amount of time it will take to make it to Playa Negra, you will lose a half day on either end. If you make the trek from San Jose our shuttle will be gladly waiting for you! In all our experience we highly recommend flying into Liberia
