So many cool things to do when you have a year off.
Our most popular destinations for people on a year out are Thailand and Australia usually as part of a round the world trip. Thailand as well as the rest of Southeast Asia is a very cheap destination to visit. That means you can spend longer, or more importantly stretch your travel budget further by including this as a destination.
Once you are in Thailand you can do things like diving, group trips, cultural experiences and more. If you do have plenty of time to spare consider doing one of our dream qualifications like a Divemaster course, which actually gives you the means to be up to earn money whilst you travel. Then Then combine this with backpacking in other countries to see as much of the world as you can.
Australia on the other hand is the perfect destination to combine working and traveling due to the Australian working holiday Visa arrangement. The Australian dollar is pretty strong and as long as you are under 31 you can earn money, travel the East coast and then move on to other countries like New Zealand and Fiji.
