The Thailand Fullmoon party takes place once a month in a beach resort called Haad Rin. You can see the dates for the Thailand Fullmoon party further down the page. The parties are legendary, they go on all night attracting up to 8000 people to an otherwise sleepy backpacker resort. It’s a lot of fun, but some people can be put off going. The main issues surrounding people going to Fullmoon party is making sure that it’s safe, quite easy to lose your wits after a few buckets of vodka red Bull!  (We’re talking about Thai red bull here as well!) and due to the sheer volume of people that turn up finding accommodation can be difficult.

No worries though, we will guarantee you entry to the Fullmoon party and four nights accommodation at our luxury Koh Tao resort On this trip which you can easily bolt onto any other Thailand programme that we offer, you get to join our group a couple of days before the party to enjoy the warm up and then of course spend an epic night partying your pants off on the beach.

Itinerary

Day One

Arriving on Koh Tao, you will be met off the boat by our taxi. The taxi will take you to your accommodation so you can check in. At 4 pm you will meet our rep for your introduction (and drink!). Get to know the rest of the the Xtreme Gappers on the island and check out your home for the next four nights

The luxurious resort has fan-cooled rooms and is a short walk from white-sandy beach, literally 300 meters from the cool blue water of the Gulf of Thailand. The resort also has an amazing pool that you might find it hard to pull yourself away from! Other restaurants, shops and massage salons are a short walk away.

Day Two

Day two you’ll head on a boat trip around the whole island, taking in swimming, snorkelling and a lunch! This is one of the highlights of the stay on the island and not a day to do be missed.

Day Three: Party Time

This day is entirely free for you to do as you wish: relax, shop (for a party outfit), sunbathe and explore – our rep is there to give you ideas for things to do and help you make plans.

Some travellers choose to explore the rest of the island, others to go swimming and snorkelling, and to explore the markets at the port town of Mae Haad. You have plenty of time to do all of this and more if you want to! But take it easy as you have to party all night long

At sunset we get on the boat to the Full Moon Party.

You and a lot of other travellers will be heading to the Fullmoon party island, read more about the full moon party on our blog. In the early morning the boat will be ready for you to head back ´home´ to Koh Tao!

Day Four & Day Five

There are then two further days to relax and enjoy the tropical bliss.  On the last day of your programme you will be able to take the high-speed catamaran boat and air-conditioned, reclining seat bus back to Bangkok if you wish (this costs about 20 pounds), or you can add on more tropical island paradise adventures on Koh Tao adventure or do some onward independent travel..

As ever, our rep is available at all times to give you whatever advice or assistance you need to help your plans after the trip. A return transfer to the airport isn’t included.

Optional extra: transfer to the start point

As standard this trip begins on Koh Tao, this is because it’s a nice trip to add to your existing itinerary or backpacking trip, however should you wish to start your travels with this trip we can add on an upgrade where we will book great hotel for you in Bangkok on arrival, and take care of your transferred down to the island on a bus in the boat. Travel happens overnight, with your first night in Bangkok this means you will need to fly in to Bangkok arriving two days earlier from the start point. During your stay on the island you will stay in a stunning, fan-cooled room (twin share) a 5 minute walk from the  white-sand beaches of Sairee beach and its night life.
