Day 4-5: Moab/Arches National Park

North America’s premier adventure playground! Mountain bike along slickrock trails, kick back and take in the scenery on an extreme Hummer tour, take a breathtaking stroll to Delicate Arch or just relax and enjoy the awe-inspiring views of Canyonlands National Park from Dead Horse Point.

Day 6 Overnight Rafting Trip

Trade in our home on wheels for a customized white water raft and conquer the 100 miles of Colorado River from Moab to Hite Marina through the legendary Cataract Canyon. Journey through some of the most remote and protected wilderness in the desert southwest and spend a night under the stars on one of the world’s greatest rivers. The elements and atmosphere conspire with heart-pounding action to create an experience you will never forget!

Accommodation: Camping included

Day 7: Rafting Trip & Monument Valley

After breakfast we continue our rafting adventure down the Colorado River. The steepest descent of the Colorado River is encountered with these rapids in Canyonlands National Park. The raft hits some of its most well known and respected Grade III – IV rapids like “Satan’s Gut” and “Little Niagara” in the famous Big Drops. The raft trip ends with a relaxing cruise across Lake Powell, a stunning red rock and blue green water wonderland.

We’re on the road again and off to Monument Valley, one of North America’s most iconic landscapes, used as the set for countless Hollywood scenes, from Westerns to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Be amazed as our Navajo guide takes us deep into the sacred valley on an optional 4×4 tour under the azure Arizona sky.

Accommodation: Camping included

Day 8-9: Grand Canyon National Park

Canyon’d out yet? We didn’t think so! Especially when we’re talking about one of the world’s seven natural wonders. Staying two nights is an open invite to explore some of those cliff-top walking trails and monumental observation spots. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise or an unforgettable optional helicopter flight over this incredible natural wonder.

Accommodation: Camping included

Day 10: Grand Canyon National Park & Las Vegas

Trade in the wonders of the great outdoors for the wonders of Las Vegas with its incredible clubs and casinos, and celebrate a great southwest adventure Sin City-style.

This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.

Accommodation

All accommodation apart from four nights is included. Along the way we are camping, with all equipment included in comfortable modern tents.

In Vegas you stay in a downtown hotel, where there is a local payment. Waking up with views of national parks take some beating, and certainly beats a motel.

USA Adrenaline Tour Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any age restrictions?
Our tours are designed for trekkers aged 18 to 38 years of age. Consequently, they tend to focus on activities and nightlife that appeal to that age range.
How much luggage can I bring?
One suitcase or rucksack with a maximum weight of 20 KG, plus your sleeping bag and one carry on bag for the van. Be sure to check the weight allowance of your luggage with your airline as well.
Do I need a visa to travel to North America?
You should check exact visa requirements within your home country. Passport holders from countries that qualify for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are now required to obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authority) which is free and can be applied for online.
When should I book my trip?
Book early! Many tours fill quickly so you should contact us as soon as possible. We would be happy to help you choose the trip that is right for you. All of our sales representatives have first hand knowledge and information about our trips. Call us anytime to check availability or hold a seat on option for up to three days with no obligation.
Why do I have to pay locally for some accommodation on tour?
The reason many en route hotels are paid locally is due to fluctuation of hotel prices throughout the year. Instead of getting ‘locked’ into a contract with one hotel for an entire year, we are able to choose one that has the most reasonable price for that time of year. This saves you money in the end
I am travelling on my own. Will I be the only one?
No. The majority of the people travelling with us are on their own. Our trips are a great way to travel safely and meet other like minded, adventurous people from all over the world and we do not charge single supplements.
What's included in the price of the trip?

1) The services of a professionally-trained tour guide

2) Transportation in a 15 passenger air-conditioned maxi van

3) All necessary camping equipment including tents, cold food storage containers, camp lights, stoves and other camp accessories

4) Admission to all National Parks and monuments as per the “Flexible Night Stops”
