We have found one of the best surf spots in Indonesia, the little town by the sea is called Canggu. No busy streets and big crowds here, here it is all chill and it is all about the surf. For beginners and more experienced or even pro’s Bali offers the best beaches and waves, everyone is in to surfing and very willing to give you tips how to become better.

Bali Surf Camp Itinerary

The schedule is designed give you ample surf time and still give you plenty of time to chill out and relax after a hard days surfing, there also lots of optional tours you can do (small local payment) to see more of Bali should you wish.

There is no set itinerary as such because with surfing a lot depends on the swell and surf conditions, coupled with the fact we will only take you to places if your abilities are up for it, so that might mean we had to different surf spots every single day. In the week you have five lessons (or guided excursions if you are good enough to not want lessons) but you will have free time to explore the island, and explore you should as Bali is a stunning place to be. Bali is well known to be one of the best surfing locations in the world, and being an island you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, with over 360 of them. Whilst most of them are black sand, many provide some of the most incredible surf spots you can imagine.

Saturday is arrival day

• Beach shuttles run twice daily to different surf spots. One in the early morning one at 2pm.
• The schedule is varied depending on the surf conditions and weather ensuring you are always surfing at a pot that will match your skill level
• Optional trips to Night markets, Temples, and Ulu Watu are also available.

Bali is world renowned for being one of the top surfing locations in the world, unsurprising really when there are 360 surf spots. You will never get bored of the same location, if the swell is better in one place we will take you there too!

Low instructor – Student Ratio

The instructor to student ratio is 1:2 We also have video playback tuition to help you learn faster. This is important because Bali can have some quite large swell conditions, so you do want to progress faster to get access to the really fun stuff.

It is said that Bali is blessed with more quality surf locations per meter of shoreline than any other country in the world. On this trip you will have surf instructors instructors in the hotel every day with you and working with you to improve your surf skills and take you out to the best surf spots of the day. This gives a very personal service for our guests and for those who would like to take advantage of the marvellous opportunities and to push personal boundaries, this could add a whole new dimension for your visit to the” Island of the Gods”.

An understanding of the numerous surf breaks is paramount and the local knowledge of our professional Brazilian surf instructor will be a wise investment for both beginner and the experienced who visit Bali for the first time.

High teaching standards

We teach you the safest and easiest surfing methods on the beach first with a demonstration and practice. Here we teach you about safe board handling and good water practice. Then it’s into the water for 2 hours of guided surfing. Our surf lessons begin with individually pushing you onto small waves of about 1 ft. Once you’re standing up and riding them with our help, we teach you how to paddle on and catch your own. By the end of the session you will be catching and riding good, long waves to the beach.

Surfaris included

Bali boasts over 20 top quality breaks on the southwest and southeast coasts of the island. Surf trip is for advance surfers who want to surf the best waves on any given day. Don’t worry about a thing, our Brazilian surf guide will drive you to the best spot in the area and surf with you.

With so many waves to choose from and crowd factors, the last thing you want to do after coming all the way to Bali is to miss out on the surf! Not only that, but with so many dangers such as the reef, the rip currents and the pounding Bali waves, you’ll want somebody by your side with the knowledge to point you in the right direction.

Our experienced surf guides have a wealth of local knowledge, secret spots and know the conditions required for certain spots to produce epic surf. Just as important, they know where to line-up so that you can catch the best waves of the day!

All Equipment Included

We have a wide range of surf equipment available to use, included in the surf package, from beginner boards, long boards or short boards to suit your experience and style.

Atmosphere at the camp

Mainly chilled out and really friendly, you will be welcomed by the friendly staff and the other customers are all about surfing, solo travellers are very welcome and will make good friends fast. Often in the evening you watch the video’s that were made during the day of the surfers in training. This way you can see exactly what went wrong that day…or what went incredibly well!

Location

The Surf Camp is located in Canggu, a well known Bali surf spot. This is a great location to be because it’s a little bit more chilled out than the now somewhat overcrowded Kuta. This means you are only a short taxi ride from the night life, but not stuck in it all the time.

Accommodation

The Accommodation is a newly built very modern flashpackers and is situated 250m from the beach in Canggu, 10 km north of Kuta beach. With a short 35 minutes drive from Bali’s international airport and less than 20 minutes drive to Kudeta, the world famous beach bars. There are different accommodation options.
