Why complete this MMA training trip?

Ultimate Fighter Thailand (2)Most likely your experience of MMA is reasonably limited or perhaps non-existent, however that will not exclude you from this programme. Mixed martial arts is a seriously popular combat sport, and ideal to improve your fitness and learn how to take care of yourself in any given situation.

It is a highly intellectual  sport, training you to use virtually unlimited techniques given different fight situations. Spending several weeks, or even several months developing your skills is a fun way and ultimately extremely rewarding way to spend your gap year or just have a training holiday. Undoubtedly your confidence levels are given a huge boost, and when you delve into the actual sport you will discover there is loads more to MMA than learning how to fight.

The Best All Round Martial Arts Discipline

With elements of Muay Thai (widely regarded as the best striking martial art) designed by Muay Thai master instructors with over 40 years experience of training the best fighters in Bangkok, Brazilian jujitsu (known for being the best grappling martial art ideal for when the fight goes to ground), even Western boxing mixed martial arts as the name suggests teaches you different elements from all of the martial arts into one well rounded combat sport.

An impressive roster of coaches, this MMA camp is the ultimate place to learn mixed martial arts and how to defend yourself. The head coach, is an exceptional instructor, mentor and fighter, exactly the kind of person you need to develop your MMA fighting skills.

How the training is structured

We divide our MMA training classes into beginners, intermediates and advanced. Considering some of the worlds top UFC professional fighters come to trade at our, it is highly unlikely you would be in advance category, but with seminars taking place all the time from big names in the UFC there’s always combat sports superstars training at the camp. Carlson Gracie to name but one person recently did a seminar here, and Xtreme Gap students where training next Jon Fitch the UFC Welterweight Champion Contender.

The MMA Camp runs on an organized schedule, which includes one-on-one training at every session. With six professional twins training rings are fully matted MMA training station and 8 meter MMA fight cage your sessions take place in a really positive training environment. Whilst the training is not full contact, it certainly hands-on and each month we host fight night, where you can sign up to get in the ring and try your luck at fighting opponent. Fight nights are exceptionally popular, and people come from all over Phuket to witness the fights take place.
