Arrival day is Friday, you can arrive any time  on Friday into Malaga. You will need to jump on the train to Fuengirola (about three pounds)  where you will be picked up. Please check with us before booking your flights and we will be up to coordinate you onto flights with other members of the group.

Today we check out Marbella, from the megarich yachts, to the world-famous beach bars might get a little wild. Don’t worry you will be chauffeur driven their back, and have the full day to explore, chill by the beach or have an all-day party. In the evening is back to the mansion to get ready for the road trip the next day.

We hope your hangovers are not too bad because it’s an early start today, we will be driving west to the southernmost point of Europe the world famous Tarifa known as the capital of wind it is one of the top kite surfing destinations in the world. Just as short distance from Gibraltar we will settle in on arrival at our beach side campsite and then hit the beach to learn some kite surfing or try out some stand-up paddle (you can choose either option please note kite surfing is winds dependent but it is a rarity that there is not wind in Tarifa).

If there is a wind it’s an awesome town to explore, it’s, laid-back hippie vibe full of kite surfers and is very cosmopolitan atmosphere. If the boutique shops and cool bars in the narrow Moorish streets don’t get you you can always go whale watching, horse riding or cycling.

Accommodation for the night camping Tarifa

A leisurely start we will have breakfast and then it is on to your awesome options. Today we have the privilege of being on one of the best beaches in Spain, on a busy day in the summer there can be upwards of 1000 kites in the sky and yours will be one of them if you choose to do the kite surfing option, for those that don’t wish to do this they can choose the stand-up paddle option.

In the afternoon we will head off to another beautiful beach and check out some ancient Roman ruins at Bolonia.

Accommodation for the night camping Tarifa

It’s an early start today as we have some distance to cover, we will be leaving Spain and heading along the stunning Portuguese Algarve coastline our destination is a cool surf town called Carapateira. The journey will take approximately 5 hours. 

People come from all over Europe to surf these waves, set by national Park it is the perfect spot to learn to surf (or improve your surf skills). We will be staying right by the beach, tented accommodation in the Xtreme gap surf camp. All equipment and instruction will be provided and we then have two and a half days to improve surf skills, live the dream and experience some of the nicest beaches in the world.

Breakfast lunch and dinner is provided all you have to worry about is looking good in a wetsuit.

Friday morning after some breakfast is time to say goodbye to the surf camp and hit the road once again. We will be heading back through the Algarve our destination will be Seville.

Known as one of the most beautiful cities in Spain this is the perfect stop off on the return route. It’s a couple of hours drive so we will not get there till the afternoon but there will be plenty of time to check out the city and we will do a tour of the major sites finishing up with a Tapas bar crawl.

The city has plenty to offer including a seriously impressive cathedral where Christopher Columbus is buried, incredible architecture including the world’s largest wooden structure “La Plaza Espana” and is steeped in Spanish tradition. There is one of the biggest bullfighting rings in Spain,and ancient streets still alluding to the Moorish past and great nightlife so no doubt we will celebrate our last night in style. Did you know tapas was invented in this city?

Please note dinner is not included tonight, we will take them out on the streets of Seville. Tonight we stay in hostal in downtown Seville.

On Saturday we will depart Sevilla in the morning and return back to Malaga, the journey time is approximately 3 hours although we will stop along the way.

Malaga is a cool city so to get to know everyone we will be hitting the city and checking out the sites. Strolling around the old town and having a tapas crawl. In the afternoon you can hit the beach or chill at the mansion. In the afternoon we transfer back to base camp for an evening dinner and packing before you head home the next day. Please note if you want to fly out on Saturday this is also no problem.
