The Queenstown Adrenaline Overload
In just 6 days and 5 nights (on the Adrenaline and Xtreme Versions, on the overload you get an extra night) you will be doing all the major adrenaline activities in Queenstown New Zealand.
Bring a big fat marker pen and get ready to scratch off a load of things you have to do in your lifetime! The activities whilst a little scary have a 100% safety record. That said…
It is not called the adrenaline capital of the world for nothing. This is where bungee jumping was invented and where you can do the best skydive over lakes and mountains.
On Arrival
On arrival at the backpackers hostel you check in at the reception of the hostel. We have made your reservation so you will receive your key and check in. At the travel desk, in the lobby of the hostel. your tickets for your activities will be ready for you. Just pick them up and confirm the dates of your activities.
Depending on what time you arrive you can already book yourself on to one of the activities that afternoon.
In the evening there will be a light meal served at the World Bar just around the corner. There will be heaps of other travellers here. Also you can chill at the big TV lounge and prepare your own meal in the fabulous kitchen. Shopping can be done in the big super market in town.
For all those doubters out there, not convinced you can actually do it, now is the time to prove them wrong! Here is what could be in store for you!
The Adrenaline Activities Queenstown
In no particular order you find below what happens on the day of the different activities
Nevis Bungee Jump
You will make your way to the AJ Hacket Bungee jump office down town (5 minutes walk) and there you will be picked up by a mini van. Surrounded by others nervous people we will bring you to the Nevis…this jump is 134 meters high!! You will get geared up and see join others on what might be the most scary thing you will ever do. After this adventure you head back to the office down town and you might want to go for a few beers to celebrate!
Depending on what time you are booked in, you will be picked up about 1 hour before your jump. The ride will take about 30 minutes and you will arrive at an impressive jump site. Cool planes, a nice lounge area and lot’s of Skydivers to admire. You will not get bored waiting around for a bit as you can see people getting all pumped up before their skydive and see them take off in the amazing planes and drop out of the sky! Until it is your turn! You get geared up and everything will be explained to you. After this you will be buzzing on the bus trip back to your accommodation.
The Shot Over Canyon Swing
We will pick you up at our office down town and after a 10 minute drive we will arrive at the biggest swing you have ever seen. You get to choose your style: On a chair, backyards, dressed up, head first, you name it!
The Shot Over Jet Boat
You get either picked up from the office down town or we get you here from the Canyon swing. This is an insane boat ride. You get a briefing and get geared up. Be sure you hold on tight as you will be making 360 turn and shoot over the river at high speed. You will be in the boat with about 15 others. After you will be brought back to the office down town again where you can brag about jet another insane Xtreme Gap activity!
The Nzone Sky Dive
If you are going to jump jump with the best! But don ´t take our word for it, hear what goldie has to say..
15.000 ft! The highest jump in Australasia
Prepare to jump the highest Skydive in Australasia – dropping you (and your instructor) from 15.000 ft over lake Wakatipu! We take you so high up that you have access to Oxygen on the plane.
The flight up is an experience in itself, as you climb above the mountains, then nerves kicking in. Then ready or not it is action time! Your tandem jump master will get you out of the plane and BOOM! Your stomach goes though the top of your head. FREEFALL!
You will have a 1 minute of freefall to be exact, that is along time to check out the ground coming at you! This will be one of the most memorable things you will do and you will dream about it at night. To make sure people at home believe you. You can upgrade to the video and photo pack for a live long souvenir of one of the most Xtreme things you will ever do!

Accommodation
The best Flashpackers hostel in Queenstown, voted the best backpackers hostel in New Zealand. You might be mistaking in thinking you are in a classy hotel, but no this is in fact the Nomads in Queestown.
