Arrival day is Friday, 16 August you can arrive any day on Friday into Malaga but check with us before booking your flights and we will be up to coordinate you onto flights with other members of the group.

Friday is settling in day, but to get you off to a good start you will stay at the exclusive Xtreme Gap Base Camp Villa, a huge modern mansion equipped with a pool and incredible views to Morocco. Chill out, meet the rest of the group get to know each other. Lay by the pool and enjoy some of the best weather in Europe. In the evening we will have a barbecue and then get some rest before the all-day street party in Malaga the following day.

Saturday the 17th of August will be devoted to hitting Europe’s biggest street festival. The Malaga Festival is a week-long celebration where the whole city goes nuts basking in glorious sunshine we will do a city tour amidst the chaos of the party.and then you have several hours to just enjoy the whole experience. Expect to see people dressed up on horses in traditional Andalusia dress, drinking a lot of famous Malaga Sweet wine (Sherry) and consuming Tapas in abundance. There will be live bands, processions, countless bars and thousands of people. We will show you where to go and that pick you up in the afternoon to transfer back to base camp for an evening dinner and packing before we hit the road the next day.

We hope your hangovers are not too bad because it’s an early start today, we will be driving west to the southernmost point of Europe the world famous Tarifa known as the capital of wind it is one of the top kite surfing destinations in the world. Just as short distance from Gibraltar we will settle in on arrival at our beachside campsite and then hit the beach to learn some kite surfing or try out some stand-up paddle (you can choose either option please note kite surfing is winds dependent but it is a rarity that there is not wind in Tarifa).

A leisurely start we will have breakfastand then it is on to your awesome options. Today we have the privilege of being on one of the best beaches in Spain, on a busy day in the summer there can be upwards of 1000 kites in the sky and yours will be one of them if you choose to do the kite surfing option, for those that don’t wish to do this they can choose the stand-up paddle option.

It’s an early start today as we have some distance to cover, we will be leaving Spain and heading along the stunning Portuguese Algarve coastline our destination is a cool surf town called Carrapateria. The journey will take approximately 5 hours. 

People come from all over Europe to surf these waves, set by national Park it is the perfect spot to learn to surf (or improve your surf skills). We will be staying right by the beach, tented accommodation in the Xtreme gap surf camp. All equipment and instruction will be provided and we then have two and a half days to improve surf skills, live the dream and experience some of the nicest beaches in the world.

Breakfast lunch and dinner is provided all you have to worry about is looking good in a wetsuit.

Friday morning after some breakfast is time to say goodbye to the surf camp and hit the road once again. We will be heading back through the Algarve our destination will be Sevilla.

Known as one of the most beautiful cities in Spain this is the perfect stop off on the return route. It’s a couple of hours drive so we will not get there till the afternoon but there will be plenty of time to check out the city and we will do a tour of the major sites finishing up with a Tapas bar crawl.

The city has plenty to offer including a seriously impressive cathedral where Christopher Columbus is buried, incredible architecture including the world’s largest wooden structure “La Plaza Espana” and is steeped in Spanish tradition. There is one of the biggest bullfighting rings in Spain,and ancient streets still alluding to the Moorish past and great nightlife so no doubt we will celebrate our last night in style. Did ou know tapas was invented in this city?

Please note dinner is not included tonight, we will take them out on the streets of Sevilla. Tonight we stay in hostal in downtown Sevilla.

On Saturday we will depart Sevilla in the morning and return back to Malaga, the journey time is approximately 3 hours although we will stop along the way. If you wish to depart from Malaga please book in the early evening flight alternatively you have the option to spend one further night at the Xtreme gap base camp to fly out on Sunday.
