    Most people visiting Portugal head of to the Algarve. Here you find many restaurants, many tourists, bars, families with kids on holidays, great beaches and even better weather. Very nice but not your typical Xtreme Gap adventure.

    However not all of Portugal is a great desitination for a shorter trip because of the weather, beaches, waves, and that is why we have selected a great surf camp just above the most Western poit of Europe, about a 1,5 drive from the Algarve.

    Carrapateira

    Welcome to Carrapateira on the west coast of the Algarve. Carrapateira is a small village with a few small but nice bars and restaurants just a few hundred meters of the coast. The beaches near here are spectactuar and popular with surfers, can be a little windy for some sunbathers. Carrapateira is on the west coast of the algarve and is about 1 hours 20 mins drive from Faro Airport.
