What are the surf conditions like?
Sagres’ coastline is a Peninsula that provides good surfing conditions year round on any surf spot at a time, regardless of swell or wind conditions. Wave size and quality range from average to epic, with an assortment of reefs and beach breaks that covers the whole range of surfing skills, from beginners to experienced.

What's the weather like?
The weather is always good, incredibly good for being on the European continent. Rain happens mostly in winter and spring.
How cold is the water?
You need a 3/2 mm wetsuit. You can surf in shorts in August and September most of the time.
What should I bring with me to the camp?
A sleeping bag, a torch, towels, and good vibes!!! Don´t forget to bring a warm robe for the evenings!.
Are your courses for beginners and people who have never surfed before?
You all are welcome regardless of your surf level: Many of you have never surfed before, some of you want to improve your surf level. The proportion in the Surf Camp is 90% beginners.
How far is the accommodation from the surf camp
We have the tents and the shared bungalows just a few 100 meters from the beach and the surf shack. If you decide to stay in the surf house in Sagres it is about 30 minutes by car but transfers are included.
