    Accommodation and meals are not included in the pass prices. This total flexibility is what makes it so unique. When travelling in remote or outback regions where accommodation is minimal (or non existent) and there’s not a supermarket in sight, a ‘Local Payment’ will be charged to you. This is paid to the local partners directly to cover meals and/or
    accommodation and, in some instances, national park fees. This will be collected in Australia, in Aussie dollars. There are some stopovers included in this pass, but there is a local payment for these stopovers.
