Are you the creative type? Fast fingers on a keyboard and able to put into words some of the incredible feelings associated with our style of travel?

Then we need you! We are looking for some creative content writers to work on some of the itineraries for our new trips. This ongoing contract role will go to writer or writers able to demonstrate good creative writing skills, with excellent spelling and grammar. Most importantly though what you write needs to stand out and inspire others to want to travel!

One of the hardest things to do when running a website dedicated to life changing travel experiences is to accurately put into words what it is like to participate on some of our trips. Some of the adventures and activities available to people through this site are genuinely life changing, they can provide such amazing feelings of liberation excitement and release but it is very difficult to put into words how people will feel and what they will experience in the written itineraries.

Therefore experience of travel, is essential in this position.

If you are able to demonstrate a unique original style in writing, and want to work for an exciting, growing and genuinely different travel company then please do Oliver Bray through the Xtreme Gap Year website including a short example (up to 500 words) of something that you have written or preferably a segment of one of our existing itineraries rewritten in your own style.

The role can be done from home on flexible hours and is a great opportunity to work with us, and earn decent money whilst you travel (or save up your travels) and we will be paying on a per itinerary basis.

This is home-based, flexible and exciting way to learn and experience more about the travel industry.
