Yeah!! We rock! Yesterday after about 36 hours of travel we went out on a ‘club Crawl’. Shooting some video’s in Surfers paradise for our future travelers. The Club Crawl is perfect for the solo traveler. You meet new people straight away and I talked to people in the beginning of the evening (it starts early like at 5 pm) and at 7 pm, after a few drinks, some bowling games, and some dancing it looked like some of them were going to be friends for live!

Yesterday at around 10 AM we arrived in to the backpackers lodge down town Surfers Paradise, the ideal location. Literally 5 minutes walk from the beach and also just a 5 minute walk to the party street. Lots of restaurant in the area and all staff are super friendly. The backpackers hostel in Surfers Paradise had internet, wifi (additional costs) a big restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool and…a Jacuzzi! The rooms simple but spacious, clean, and have a balcony. There is also a kitchen, a lounge room and a game room if you wish to chill at the hostel for a while.

We went straight to the beach for an hour, what a great beach this is! I had a snooze (knock out!!!) for an hour and then visited some Beach Life Guard schools.

Got ready for a night out (nothing much special in the back pack…) and had some drinks in the 5 different clubs we take you to on the club crawl. Met lots of nice people, danced laughed and at 10 we fell asleep on the bar stools… getting old…

We have arrived at the airport to fly to Sydney today. The bus to the airport is very convenient departing from around the corner from the hostel and costs about 6 Australian dollar. Free internet at the airport is nice too!
