If you are a complete nutter, why not go for the overload Pack! Hell you are only New Zealand once (probably) so really go for it. Yes it is more expensive, so don’t go to the pub for one  or two nights before you leave and then you can be enjoying all of the insane activities that the New Zealand Overload Pack offers.

The inclusions similar to the xtreme pack with the added terrifying ordeal facing Australasia’s highest bungee jump, the Nevis bungee. This is  an impressive 138 m above the Nevis Canyon, perched on a high tension cable you find a pod, with a plank overlooking the most scary dilemma of your life.

Not everyone has the guts to face the Nevis in fairness, although we did, and you can see the video here so we give you an option to jump the original bungee location instead, a mere baby by comparison to the Nevis but still a butt tightening exercise to say the least. The Kawaru bridge was the location where AJ Hackett tied himself to a bungee rope that he had custom-built to try out and see if bungee jumping would. Fortunately for him it did, and to this day there have been over 1 million people who have taken the leap and become a bungee jumper.

Now if you’re worried about doing this, officially you don’t have to be there has never been a fatality through bungee jumping with AJ Hackett. That’s 1 million jumpers and zero deaths. Your toaster is more likely to kill you and bungee jumping. More people get kicked to death by donkeys every year than dying on a bungee jump. I could go on but really it’s not the fear of dying this can stop you doing it, it’s every rational bone in your body saying this is not normal I should not be jumping off this bridge, or out of this pod with nothing but my faith in a giant elastic band to keep me from splattering all over the floor, that’s why we do people to see how brave you are. So the question is are you brave enough to book the overload version?
