My Smelly Bag

I remember quiting my job 7 years ago to go on a long and well deserved trip to Asia. On my own. My ex boss was weirdly enough very proud of me for taking that decision and he bought me lots of handy things to bring with me like a swiss knife, the smallest towel I have ever seen, a lock for my back pack and a great lap top bag.

Al tough my family and friends thought (or maybe hoped) this was just a mini crisis I had and I needed to ‘find my self’ whatever that means, it turned out a bit different. My now smelly lap top bag has been on many trips with me and is still going strong.

We have been to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Solomons, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, England, Chile, Argentina, Morocco, Portugal and we have been back to The Netherlands a few times. My bag has carried laptops, snacks for in planes, trains and buses, books, journals, lip gloss, love letters, post cards, I phones and phones, sweaters and bikini’s and has never let me down and has never been washed.

Tomorrow is the day. I promise to make a before and after picture. I treasure my bag, the washing lady better be gentle.
