Koh Tao Night Life.

Koh Tao Night Life is an eclectic mix of beach bars, Thai restaurants, party bars and chill out lounges. Funky new places are opening up all the time and what ever mood you are in you are going to find something to your liking in Koh Tao. Most of the action takes place on the main beach (Sairee Beach) which is about 3 Km long.

The perfect end to a perfect day…

As Sairee beach is west facing you get some amazing sunset shots from the various chill out bars along the beach. Depending on the time of the month (tides) sometimes the sea comes right in so you can sit with your legs dangling into the crystal clear water enjoying a chang or god forbid a Thai Redbull Vodka Bucket!

Pure relaxation in a big comfy bean bag is on the menu as you sit an contemplate exactly where should you go for dinner…

Restaurants

You are spoilt for choice in Koh Tao, with plenty of restaurants to choose from, catering to all budgets. Thai food, western food, street food, barbeque stalls and of course Ali the Pancake Ninja!

Because there is so much choice and eating out is so cheap – and social – we do not include meals in the Koh Tao section of the trip. (In Tik for example an amazing Thai food restaurant next to the Resort, you can eat for £1 and the curries are amazing!

Xtreme Gappers tend to head out to different restaurants together everyone has their own favorites and there are always new places to discover.

After dinner…

Some of the more popular places to hang out are Fizz Bar and Lotus bar, both right on the beach. These go on until pretty late, but not as late as Moov a uber cool club located in Mae Had, run by resident DJ Absolud.

There are other clubs on the island, usually The Castle puts on a good party if you can last until the wee hours of the morning!

Of course if you don´t want to go out one night then you have a beautiful resort to relax in, away from the noise, you can chill there with a big tv watching a dodgy  priate DVD, but with so much fun going on around you can you see yourself doing that?
