Bryon Bay. Ah it is good to be King.

Finishing up an awesome 5 day surf trip with the guys at mojo surf, we arrive into Byron Bay. Ah Byron bay, what a town. It is a really hip young place, some places in the world you can just tell are happening. Cool hippy shops, boutiques, surf buses and trendy eateries nestle side by side amoungst happy Backpackers, surfers, hippies and young families nesting on one of the coolest places in Eastern Australia.

I kind of new this place was geared towards fun the moment the mojo bus pulled into town. Two girls jumped on the bus wearing Little more than a cheaky grin and body paint jumped on touting “cheeky monkeys” a classy establishement where you can eat a hamburger for 5 bucks whilest oggling scantily clad teenagers out of the corner of your eye or watching other guys trying not to get busted at the same time.

Turns out Mojo have an agreement with Cheeky monkeys that every one on the trip gets guest listed. As i was having a wrist band strapped around me by one of the girls (who incidentally had two swedish flags painted across her boobies) I couldn´t resist. “ I love Sweden” I beamed.
“I´m Canadian” came the response.
“Yeah but your tits are from Sweden!”
“Oliver Bray!” came the response from my wife at the back of the bus.
Busted.
When we stopped we headed to Nomads in Byron Bay and met up with Jitka the Marketing manager for Nomads. Despite the fact we were not expecting it at all they offered us our stay free of charge as we work with them. This was really generous as we had booked a king room (for Debbys Birthday, an uber comfortable big room in prime location, balcony overlooking some of the main happenings in town, so take note – if you are heading to Byron (which you will be on the Mojo trip anyway so hats of to Nomads! We LOVE you guys!).
