Table Mountain is awesome. It has been designated as a natural wonder of the world, and for sure it is extremely impressive when you see it up close. Even as the plane comes into Cape Town International, this monstrous tabletop mountain makes its presence well known from outside the plane window.
The mountain itself splits Cape Town in two, giving much of the character to the city. From the main city bowl area, which holds most of the urban population to the more upmarket bays like camps Bay and hout bay located around the side of the mountain nestled on its slopes overlooking the sea.
Many of Our Programs in South Africa Include Staying in Cape Town. This Gives You an Unrivalled Opportunity to Visit Table Mountain, and When You Are at the Top You Will Be Greeted by Views That Will Simply Take Your Breath Away.
From the top you can see as far as the Cape of Good Hope on a good day, and strolling around you will be greeted by 360° views of Cape Town and the surrounding bay. For those of you brave enough to tackle the world’s highest abseil, which you can do on the Cape Town adrenaline overload, you get the opportunity to be thrown off the top as well!
