With Xtreme Gap you can learn to dive with sharks. The programme is in South Africa with one of the best shark divers out there.

One of the sharks you can dive with (seasonal) is the Tiger shark. The Tiger Sharks are called like this because of the tigerlike stripes on juveniles, the tiger shark is a voracious hunter! And with Xtreme Gap you can learn to dive with them!

The Tiger Shark

People hunt for the tiger shark for their  skin, fins and flesh. The liver of a Tiger shark contain high levels of vitamin A, which is processed into vitamin oil. This causes that the tiger shark needs to be protected, even more so because they have extremely low re-population rates, they now are listed as near threatened throughout their range.
