The Shortway Round - The Zamcog Enduro Africa Appeal.

Rob Parish - The Short Way Round

Being the extreme sports gap year company, we are fully be hind this worthy appeal. We hope to bring to your attention Rob Parishes Enduro Africa Charity adventure, and hope you discover your own unique way to get out there and make a difference doing something you love.  For those who can´t, get donating instead!

Without the luxuries of Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boreman, but inspired by their cause and sharing their passion for biking, Rob Parish has decided to give himself a similar challenge in aid of helping others less fortunate than ourselves.

When asked why he responded: "I think it is valuable and enlightening to understand the harder things in life when appreciating the luxuries that we have, and test ourselves to the limit which those in African third world countries have to deal with every day".

Good work Rob, get out there and make a difference.

Not the bike Rob will be using. We hope.

About Zamcog - Enduro Africa:

In partnership with Enduro Africa, Zamcog are coordinating a sponsored off-road ride in one of the continent's most incredible and challenging landscapes, the Wild Coast of South Africa.

The aim of Zamcog's Enduro Africa is to raise at least £100,000 for the valuable work that the charity are doing in Zambia.

The event happens between 27th August - 5th September 2010 and involves 5 days of tough off-road riding, supported by a world class team.

Zamcog's goal is to establish a self-sustaining route, through education, for children who can transform themselves from being those who have no hope, to being those that are the hope fro Zambia's future.

The work that Zamcog and Enduro Africa achieve is inspirational, and has the highest level of support from people like myself to Prince Harry and William.
