The accommodation I stayed in while diving was great. We were a group of 4 and ended up pretty much doing all the diving we possibly could. We had fantastic instructors, they always answered all our questions really well and explained everything so we could understand. I always felt safe. We did additional dives as well, we couldn't get enough, and it's really fun going on the boat - landing and launching!
Throughout our stay we saw manta rays, small eye stingray (they're the biggest type of sting ray - HUGE!), whale sharks (on the ocean safari, which we did twice), turtles, dolphins etc. We missed humpback season (we were there in December and the humpbacks are apparently in abundance from June-October, so we're hoping to go back in August this year).
We also went on a kayak trip which was out of this world - 1.5hrs kayaking to a rarely visited island in the estuary, a tour of their (very few) facilities and the island in general, a seafood feast, a dhow trip on the way back AND a ride through the bush to get home. I want to do it again when we return in August. I also want to do an Ocean Safari again - you go out snorkelling looking for sea life and we ended up seeing and snorkelling with countless whale sharks (the biggest one we saw was about 12m long!!!), I can't wait to go back!!!

Loved the dive team, but getting in and out of those boats is a unique experience ... worth it for the big fish. Yes we saw a whaleshark ! The bar and restaurant are realy nice. its about a 20 minute walk to the town along the beach which is a nice distance.

A must! I had a great time. got to see manta, whale shark, turtles and loads of big fish. The Liquid crew is awesome, very helpful and the gear is fine. Enjoy the incredible entries from the boat. A thrill!
