Welcome to life in the Outback!
Working in Australia on a real Australian Ranch in the outback... That is something different! In just 5 days we will train you up to work on a ranch in the Australian Outback! It is pretty hard work on a Ranch, but great fun and at the end of it, depending on which package you choose, you have the choice of going to a job that we’ll find for you or travelling onwards to your next destination with a view to looking for some work later on. Either way, you’ll be equipped with the skills you need to earn some money doing a fun, adventurous job. It certainly beats mundane fruit picking.
The ranch guarantees the job offer(s) if you pass the course. This is at the trainers’ discretion. This percentage of people getting a job offered is approximately 90%. There are about 30 to 70 jobs available each week. So if you show you are up for it, we ill get you a job!
Highlights

Dates
The courses start every Sunday morning. You will be picked-up from the Base Backpackers (Down Town Sydney) hostel at 10.30am. The Gold Programme starts every Thursday with a 3 night stay in Sydney before going to the Outback on Sunday. Please note there are some exclusion dates when you can not join, please see dates section for detail.

Silver Pack

All of the Silver Pack plus:

Pick up from Sydney airport on Thursday and transfer to Base Hostel.

3 nights accommodation Base Hostel in Sydney before the course.

Total of 3 job offers after the course - work for 12 months.
