Training
The boxing academy where you will undertake your training was founded and is coordinated by Mestre Claudio Coelho one of the best known and sought after instructors in the world of boxing and cage fighting. It was he who adapted boxing skills to MMA training in Brazil in 1990 and he coached some world-class fighters like Renzo Gracie, Pedro Rizzo, Murilo Bustamente, and many others.
Initial Assessment
The first training session you do serves as an assessment to set up a personal training plan. You will have one-to-one classes in the mornings and group classes in the evenings, five days a week, from Monday to Friday. Class duration is one hour, this includes warm up, drill, and boxing techniques, and, depending on the students interest and level, also ring movements.
Equipment Included
You will receive your own set of boxing gloves and a mouth protection for you to keep.
Extra Sessions are available
If you feel this is not enough you can book extra sessions locally, however we promise you after 1 hour you will be knackered! Apart from the scheduled lessons more classes can be booked individually, for example on the weekends, for those who are looking for total immersion and do not get sidetracked by the amount of offers for other extreme sport activities, party and social life, beach life, and culture.
