The Seven day “South Island Ski Safari” is an unforgettable New Zealand winter sports adventure. Transported by our adventure vehicles you will be taken to 6 of the best Ski and Snowboarding sites in the south Island of New Zealand and also be given the option to upgrade to heli skiing or add on discounted adventure activities in Wanaka and Queenstown!
The tour departs from Christchurch- a great early intro sees you directly off upon your very first ski experience at Mt Hutt, South Island's largest snowboard areas! On day Two we all check out Ohau to get a genuine NZ club field adventure, prior to venturing to Wanaka and Queenstown for Three or Four days of great entertainment on the pistes of The Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Treble Cone and Cardrona. We split up your vacation on day Four this enables you to do some extreme sports activities or carry on up the mountains if you prefer.
In the night time groups are invited to be social - Methven, Wanaka and Queenstown perfect for apres ski!
Included
- Accommodation – we stay at Adventure Lodges and Hostels, where our standard accommodation is quad share. All the places we stay in are hand-selected by us and have kitchen/lounge facilities as well as internet and TV access.
- Services of a passionate and adrenalin-seeking Kiwi Tour Manager who has heaps of ski or boarding experience! All our guides know their country like the back of their hand.
- All lift passes for 6 days.
- "Beginner's Pack" includes beginner's lift pass and group lessons on the first 2 days, and ski or snowboard equipment for the week. These lessons are given by professional instructors at the mountain.
- "Lift Pass and Hire Pack" includes ski or snowboard hire for the week.(upgrade)
- Transportation via tour bus. We use a 22 seater Toyota Coaster for groups of a max 16 - so there is heaps of room on board to stretch out!
- Guided tour of each ski field to help you find the best runs immediately!
- Continental breakfast every morning.
