The Veingtai hotel is the base for Xtreme Gappers just off the Khao San Road. We prefer to work with this hotel for good reason, having stayed there many times the Xtreme Gap Team know it well and having done the research of lots of backpacker hotels in the Khao San Road Area, we know it is one of the best places to stay in Bangkok.

The Location is perfect.

Why? it is located in the perfect place, just off the Khao San Road, but not right on it, when you hear noise generated from the street you will see why thins is a good option. Not that you are out of it either, Rambuttri where the Veingtai is located is 2 minutes from all the action, 2 minutes from the ferry so you can check out lots of Temples and sites really easily and 2 minutes from the bus check in for Koh Tao Transfers.

The Viengtai is also one of the few hotels in the Area to have a swimming pool which is a god send after trekking around the sites in Bangkok or after a serious MBK Centre Shopping spree. Remember Bangkok is humid, hot and sticky all year, so an airconditioned hotel with a pool is a pretty comfortable way to start the trip and acclimatise properly.

Breakfast is included at the Viengtai and there is plenty to see and do in Bangkok during your stay.
