During your Koh Tao Divemaster you will go from Zero to Hero, completing all the nessassary courses to qualify as a divemaster.
When you are qualified you can gain paid work as a Divemaster at any accredited PADI dive resort in the world or continue your stay in Koh Tao working as a divemaster.
The Koh Tao Divemaster course is not just about diving, as you will be leading divers on fun dives and assisting in open water lessons you will develop leadership skills necessary when leading divers in the underwater world. Koh Tao Divemasters become trained in reacting to and dealing with emergencies. Helping distressed divers and learning about the physics of diving. Should you wish to stay after your Divemaster training, you will be qualified to gain paid work as a Divemaster at one of the many dive resorts located in Koh Tao.Others have gained further diving qualifications on the Technical diving (wreck hunter) course or even become an dive instructor (allow 6 months from your first diving course) to increase their earning potential.
You can also add on a Underwater videography course if you further wish to extend your interest in diving or subsidise your travels as this is a paid internship

Accommodation
A short stroll through palm trees from the beach you will find your beautiful new, safe clean home from home. A beautiful and laid back resort with a swimming pool, set in tropical Thai gardens.The fan rooms are big, clean and comfortable and have an ensuite and there is a maid service. Getting There

Do you have to be fit and healthy to be a Koh Tao Divemaster?
To train on the Koh Tao Divemaster course you will need to fill in a medical statement and pass a medical exam. You will definately notice that your fitness levels improve significantly as you advance through the Koh Tao Divemaster course.
Bear in mind you will be swimming for up to 4 hours, this has a great impact on your fitness and health.However before beginning the course you need to be reasonably fit and healthy. You will also need to pass a padi Divemaster swim test.
