Thailand Fitness Boot Camp Essential Info



Get in shape: a fit and sexy start to your holiday or Thailand gap year.

Hidden under the palm trees on a tropical island in Thailand you find our Gym. Sounds very nice…But you will have to work hard! Very hard.


Thailand fitness holiday: Intensive fitness programme. Our 2 week intensive fitness programme in Thailand consists of all day training, accommodation and a food nutrition programme.


The Training

The training consists of 5 days a week weight-lifting, strength and conditioning groups, training 3 hours a day. And a 7.5 hour a week personal training schedule, one on one with a qualified personal fitness instructor,  to develop the ideal schedule, diet and supplement plan, and teach about nutrition, weight-lifting, and workout structure.

The gym is open full time, you can train harder if you like, or explore Phuket and hit its’ stunning beaches with a body to match.
The fitness camp weight-lifting / strength and conditioning programme is run by professional body building association of Thailand member and accredited personal fitness intructor. He is a professional body builder, diet and nutrition counselor with a resume that contains competing in Toyota Strongman competition as well as the Mr. Thailand and Mr. Asia body building championships every year.

The group personal fitness programme is from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. You will be taught  lifting,  proper form, technique, cardio, balance, and posture to get the most from your weight-lifting training.

The trainers also run two personal fitness classes at 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m each day. During these sessions we will work out individually tailored workout schedules, diet and supplement plans, and teach you about nutrition, weight-lifting,Cardio and workout structure. During the  private sessions you can work one-on-one with the personal trainers to help lose weight, gain muscle or just have a professional workout and spot partner.


Who trains at the camp?


People come to the camp with lots of different personal fitness goals, men and women, athleletic and out of shape! The combining motivating factor for people who attend the thailand fitness boot camp  is the desire to improve fitness and health. As all the programmes are tailored to your needs, no matter what your fitness levels or expereince, the camp will be able to set you on your way to your personal fitness goals and in most cases exceed them. Please note this is not your typical gap year programme, it is undertaken by all even on a short break to Thailand.


The Fitness Equipment


The gym at the training camp includes all you need to work on strength and conditioning training:Hammerstrength benches, curl bench and bar, incline, squat rack, sit-up benches, 3 racks of dumbbells, stationary bikes, Nautilus machine with pill down, seated row, leg press, and 4 Full sets of Kettle Bells which are highly regarded for hardcore weightlifting workouts and plenty of plate weights to accommodate several weight-lifters at same time.


Yoga training

The training is pretty intensive and working out everyday takes a toll on your body. For this reason we include Yoga. Monday to Friday sees a one hour session of relaxation and meditation. The Yoga session is beneficial to the flexibility of you joints, tendons, and muscles and helps prevent injury during training.It doesn’t matter if you are a novice or experienced in Yoga you can take part.

Accommodation


The Fitness boot camp offers a range of accommodation depending upon your budget. We have standard bungalows, and Thai-style fitness rooms available and high end luxury bungalows with pool at the fitness bootcamp.

All roomsrooms all habe have air-conditioning or fan, TV/DVD/Cable, Wi-Fi internet, large beds and hot water bathrooms.

Standard Rooms:

These rooms are located on the campus. Each room has a single bed, fan, dresser, small fridge, TV/cable, DVD, and wifi internet. There is a shared bathroom facility which is clean and has toilets, a hot and cold shower and dressing areas located next to the rooms

Ensuite Rooms

The ensuite rooms are located at the camp and come with a large bed, air, wifi internet, tv, dvd, cable, hot water shower, wardrobe and fridge.
Maid service cleans the room 2 times per week.

Luxury Garden Bungalows:

Located next to training camp. Each bungalow comes with a large bed, air, TV/cable, DVD, wifi internet, hot water shower, and a small kitchenette with a sink and fridge. The bungalows also have a beautiful front porch with a nice view of the tropical landscape and coconut grove, and tables and chairs which are great to relax in after a hard training session. The tropical garden bungalows have access to the pool across the street.



Getting There


The programme begins in Phuket. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to the camp.If you would like assistance with your flights, we can assist with sourcing the best value flight options, just indicate on your booking form.

When To Go


Phuket has a tropical monsoon climate. It's warm all year 'round, but the two periods of April-May and September-October are the hottest. The September-October period is also the wettest.The best time to visit Phuket is during the cool NE monsoon season, from November through March (See photo Galleries December and January in Phuket), when it isn't so humid, and the cool breezes keep things comfortable. The average temperature is around 75F to 89F (24C to 32C).

Food Programme


Food programWhen you are training hard for six-hours-a-day , eating healthy is as important as training. Without the proper fuel, the body engine doesn’t run at full speed or regenerate muscle and energy. Our specialist training camp has a Protein Bar and Grill.

Also located at the camp is the grill is our protein and fruit shake bar offering a wide variety of fruit and protein shakes. (Please note these are not included in the meal plan) and a selection of drinks to help you maintain a high amount of protein in their diet to help build muscle and lose fat.

There is also a wide selection of supplements available from Glutamine, Creatine, Vitamins, Gorilla Juice, Oat Muscle, Amino drinks, BCAA’s, and more. The Grill is open from 7:00 a.m - 9:00 p.m. 7-days-week.

To Do In Phuket

Phuket is a tropical island in southwestern Thailand. Surrounded by immaculate white sand and stunning blue water, it is a popular Southeast Asian tourist destination where people visit from all over the world.

Exotic nighttime entertainment, market bazars, scuba diving, adventure sports, elephant ride tours, stunning beaches, fine restaurants, stunning beaches, relaxing Thai massages and of course a superb gym.

The in coconut oil palm trees covered island is approximately 50 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide and has more beautiful white sandy beaches you can count. To get to the island you can take a 1 hour flight or 12 hour bus ride from Bangkok or a short 2 hour flight from Singapore. Most of the island, especially the tourist areas, have paved roads, streetlights, and are safe to travel at all times on motorbikes or in taxis, tuk-tuks or cars. The Thai locals are friendly, generous and good-hearted, and usually speak or at least understand a little bit of English.

While training at our gym you will get to understand the Thai culture while most of our trainers are Thai. Thai people are extremely friendly and always smiling when they greet you. The atmosphere is continually pleasant. Besides that Thailand offers you great prices, fantastic weather, or the colorful culture and lot’s of history. Training your body and mind in his environment will put a smile on your face in no time.

Chalong

Our training camp is located on a quiet road in a small port town, it is home to a large boating community, pier, wonderful fresh seafood restaurants, scuba diving shops, markets, and other fantastic attractions.

The training camp is close to many great beaches and attractions. Elephants and water buffalo can often be seen grazing in the fields, and trained monkeys climb up coconut palms and drop the fruit to the ground to be collected and sold at local markets or road-side stands.

Guests staying at the camp will need transportation in order to get around the island. Motorbikes, motorbike taxis, Tuk-Tuks, buses and/or taxi cabs are all readily available.

On Phuket you find everything you need: banks/ATMs, Post Office, drug stores, grocery stores, gas stations, bakeries, 7-11, Police station, beauty shops, massage, etc. The closest hospital is in Phuket City and is very clean, modern and affordable.
