It includes Kloof Streets one and only Rooftop bar and has become the hub of the local music scene, with live DJ’s and acoustic sessions every weekend. An ideal venue for sundowners after a day of adventure. With breath-taking sunsets, this spot is the quintessential Cape Town experience. The space has crept into the hearts of both locals and internationals alike.

All dorms have en-suite bathrooms, 4 beds and lockers, but you will need to buy a small padlock to use them. Just chat to reception.

Week 2: Volunteer or Kite Surf week

Both options use the same accommodation: One of the great things about this volunteering/kite surfing project is where you stay. We have a shared volunteer house located five minutes from the beach. The house is set in a very secure safe compound, and we have space for up to 50 people. Attached next door is our hostel, where we run our other Cape Town programmes. So it is a very social vibe and a very welcoming place. There is a plunge pool, bar, TV room kitchen and loads of facilities at your disposal. In the local area there are loads of nice little bars and restaurants, so it’s not uncommon to head out in the evenings in groups to enjoy your local environment. Check out this link to see more about the location on our blog.

Week 3: Road Trip!!!

We stay at various hostels along the garden route. The hostels have been carefully selected in the various locations throughout the trip and are all super fun.

Week 4 & 5: Wildlife Conservation week

You will be staying in a dedicated 5 star volunteer camp. We have single sex dorm rooms, and shared common areas. The camp is fenced, which is important because it’s located right inside the game reserve. It’s not unusual to hear the call of Africa’s wild as you sit around the campfire at night, looking up at the million stars. The location is really special.

Meals are had at the camp, hearty traditional South African food is freshly prepared every day. Vegetarians are well catered for as well.
