Itinerary
Arrive at any time and we’ll meet you at the airport and take you to our start hotel. Have a dip in the pool or explore Cancún before meeting your new travel buddies for a welcome dinner and drinks in this world-famous beachside party town.
Prepare for paradise as we set off to the car-free island of Holbox to spend the afternoon relaxing on pristine, white sandy beaches. Home to tropical marine life, enjoy swimming in the sea or chilling out in the sea hammocks. Relax and have a cold drink in the funky beach bars with live music and simply enjoy the start of your Yucatán experience!
Enjoy a lie-in before we jump on a private boat to explore 3 beautiful locations; Bird Island, home to many beautiful birds native to this island, “eye of the water” which is a cenote - a large natural pool where freshwater springs. Last but not least, Passion Island, full of flocks of pink flamingos who like to chill out here. Afterwards, we’ll hop on our boat & head back to catch the silky sunset. If we are lucky enough we might get to see the bioluminescence in the ocean after dark!
An early start today as we leave Holbox and travel to the ancient Mayan site of Chichen Itza. We’ll have a guided tour as we learn about the fascinating history of Mayan civilisation, before heading a short distance to Cenote Ik Kil. We’ll be welcomed to one of Yucatan’s most amazing natural swimming pools for a much-needed dip. We’ll then head to Merida where we’ll arrive early evening to explore the city through an orientation walk to see the spectacular sights.
Today we head slightly outside of Merida to experience 3 amazing cenotes by cycling between each one and stopping for a spot of lunch along the way. We’ll then head back to Merida to chill out for a few hours, before getting ready for tonight’s fun-filled evening! Prepare for your taste buds to tingle as we head to the food court in Merida to try some delicious local food. From tacos to burritos, don’t be afraid to dive in!
Afterwards, we’ll get our dancing shoes at the ready as we head to a local bar for tequila and mescal tasting and test our salsa dancing skills at one of the many live music bars.
We’ll set off this morning to travel to Bacalar and arrive early afternoon. Spend the afternoon chilling out by the lagoon. Take a kayak/paddleboard out or go for a refreshing dip in the lagoon if you fancy. In the evening we’ll find a spot by the lagoon to watch the sun go down with some cold beers. Perfect end to the day!
Today we jump on a boat to check out the magnificent 7 colour lagoon. The crystal clear waters and white sandy bottom of this lagoon causes different shades of turquoise, blue, and deep indigo to appear. You’ve got to see it to believe how amazing it is! Throughout the day we’ll stop at several places along the way to cool off in the freshwater, get your Insta worthy shots have a spot of lunch, on us.
Get ready to set off to the trendy beachside town of Tulum. We’ll send the afternoon exploring the town, or simply relax on the white sandy beaches before heading out into town for tonight’s dinner and drinks with the group.
This morning we head to Tulum archaeological site to explore the ancient Mayan ruins. The backdrop of the bright blue ocean and beaches makes this view one of a kind so make sure you have your cameras at the ready! After we head down to the beach to take a refreshing dip and enjoy a cocktail (or two) at one of the quirky beach lounges.
Today we take a short ride up the coast to Playa Del Carmen; a popular resort town on the beach. Spend some time doing some shopping or enjoy relaxing on the beach, topping up your tan, before we head out in the evening for our farewell dinner in this lively, exciting town.
Adiós amigos as it’s time to say your goodbyes today! Whether you are heading home or heading on another one of our trips, your group leader will be there to help you with your onward travel.

Yes, lots of people come on our trips alone, it’s a great way to meet new people and you will never feel alone from the moment you arrive as you will instantly be travelling with an awesome group of like-minded people.

There no age limits on our trips however most of our travellers are between 18 and mid 30’s. Remember you’re only as old as you feel!

For most of our destinations, you don’t need any specific vaccinations however its always good to check with your doctor to make sure you have an up to date tetanus jab. We also recommend paying a visit to a travel doctor, as they will have all the up-to-date info.
