The pass takes you to the following locations.

Lima -> Paracas -> Huacachina -> Cusco -> Puno -> Copacabana -> La Paz -> Puno -> Arequipa -> Nazca -> Lima.

Sector 1 Lima

Arrive to Lima and discover a modern city full of lovely parks, plazas, and even beaches. In times past Lima was thought as just the entry point to Peru where people would spend a night before exploring other parts of the country. Now travellers are staying a few nights to take advantage of the cities nightlife, museums, and fun activities.

Sector 2 Paracas

You will leave Lima very early so as to take advantage of a full day. The bus will stop on the Paracas peninsular for your included boat tour of the Ballestas islands, which boasts an abundance of visible sea creatures. It is nicknamed ‘Little Galapagos’ because of all the creatures that live here. You will also see a massive etching in the sand left by the ancient indigenous.

Sector 3 Huacachina

After your Ballestas Island tour you will hop onto another bus to the city of Ica, only a short distance from Huacachina by taxi. Huacachina is a real oasis town set around a fresh spring lake amongst towering sand dunes. The afternoon you arrive you will head out on dune buggies and then take to the sandy slopes for some sand boarding.

Sector 4 Cusco

The Inca Capital of Cusco, the navel of the earth as its name suggests in local Quechua. Cuzco is a city where history abounds in Inca foundations built upon by the Spanish conquistadors. You will need at least 2 whole days to see Cusco and its nearby surrounds, but be warned, it is hard to leave, and why should you leave so soon when one of the worlds truly marvelous sites, Machu Picchu, is only a train ride away, or even take a 4 day hike on the famous Inca trail or Inca Jungle (Bike & Hike).You will also board the Puno Hopper bus headed to Cuzco. In this included trip you will stop at 4 sites of interest with explanations by a local guide.

Sector 5 Puno

Puno is the gateway to the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. Here you have an included trip to see the Uros Islands, made from reeds and which float to support a people who have made, maintained and inhabited them for centuries. After you have finished exploring the lake from Peru, jump on your next bus to Copacabana to see it from Bolivia.

Located on the Bolivian shore of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, the amazing fishing village of Copacabana will offer you great opportunities to witness breath taking views of the lake and share its unique cultural events with you all year round. Take a boat trip to the Sun Island or just soak up the Andean culture around the village.

Sector 7 La Paz

La Paz is the highest capital city in the world and features a unique urban landscape which trickles into an impossible valley. Spend a couple of days or weeks even, to soak in the energy of this enchanting city. Visit the witches market, the valley of the moon, and dare to take on the world’s most dangerous road. No trip to South America is complete without a visit to the La Paz!

Sector 8 Puno

This is just a stop-over before your bus to Arequipa.

Sector 9 Arequipa

You will arrive to Arequipa, the capital of southern Peru. The city which features a beautiful white cathedral along with other grand buildings made from white volcanic siltstone, the reason why Arequipa is known as the ‘White City’. Visit the museum which houses Juanita the Ice maiden found frozen and preserved on top of a nearby volcano, and explore the walled convent of Santa Catalina, Latin-colonial architecture at its best which has hosted many years of secrets before the public were allowed to enter.

Your Included Activity will take you high into the Andes; you will visit the Colca Canyon, home to many indigenous communities and thermal pools to soak in. You will see the rare giant condor which soars frequently at eye level around the Condor Pass, but remember there is no guarantees that they will be flying the day you are there.

Sector 10 Nazca

Your next bus trip takes you to Nazca, the once centre of a pre-Inca civilization which left remarkable and mysterious images on the desert floor, best seen from the air (optional Nazca Lines flight). Take a trip out to see the preserved Nazca mummies out in the desert.

Sector 11 Lima

You have made it full-circle back to Peru’s Capital. Time to celebrate by exploring Lima’s great nightlife and relaxing beaches before your return home or continued travels!

Duration: 3 Hours 30 Minutes: Lima to Paracas

 

You will have a full day of activities to start with. Leaving Lima really early in the morning you arrive to Paracas and jump onto a boat to see the Ballestas Islands. You will then head to Huacachina (a short distance from Ica) to take a dune-buggy trip over the desert dunes, with your chance to try sand-boarding!

Van Transfer to Huacachina Duration: 1 Hour: Paracas and Huacachina

Morning 08:00

 You will be met off the bus from Lima and directed to your boat for your trip to the Ballestas Islands. After the boat trip you will have a transfer to Huacachina.

Duration: 02 Hours 50 Minutes: Bus from Ica (Huacachina) to Cusco

You have a choice of 2 departures for the next stop:

Duration: 10 Hours: Puno Hopper - Route of the Sun & Sacred Valley Tour

This bus is also an included activity. You will be stopping at 4 sites of interest with guide included and have a buffet lunch on the way. Entrance fees to archeological sites not included which work out to be about US$8 and you pay this at the site entrances.

Duration: 3 Hours 15 Minutes: Puno to Copacabana w/transfer to terminal

 Please note that citizens of some countries such as the U.S. need tourist visas to enter Bolivia. It is your responsibilty to check if you need a visa for Bolivia! U.S. citizens can pay for a visa at the border but best to check current rates to know how much you will need for this as prices constantly change!  Last update it was $135 USD.

Explore Arequipa and then jump onto your overnight included activity to see the Condors of the Colca Canyon before returning to Arequipa for your next bus. You will not need to book accommodation in Arequipa for the night you are at the Colca Canyon!. This nights accommodation is included in the activity.
8 Hours 30 Minutes: Arequipa to Nazca (Overnight Bus)
Duration: 7 Hours: Bus from Nazca to Lima
