I’m from New York, we’ll be there till at least July 10th, but we have a one way ticket haha… so who knows… How did you get your visa? still trying to figure that out… I’ll be 21 this year… I did a gap year program last year for 3 months in Mexico and got my Rescue Diver cert! Okay so with your visa your going to have to either go to the thai embassy in New York or mail in your passport along with some documents to get it. I live in Maryland so i just went to the Thai embassy in DC and basically what they needed from me was my passport, 2 passport sized photes, the visa application (find this online), a bank statement…[Read more]

Thats so cool that you already did a gap year… did you do this through xtreme gap as well? I’m currently only Open Water certified… so I’m going to be doing Advanced all the way up through the IDC during my 3 month stay. No I didn’t move out to Holland with my parents. I’m English but I’ve been living in Scotland for the last 5/6 years. Looking forward to the warm weather in Thailand Yeah I had no idea when I wanted to come back so a one-way ticket seemed like the best option. I did my gap year through GVI, really good company as welll, but much different. It ISSS going to be so hot. I have Koh Phanang as a choice on my weather app to get an idea of the temperature (Koh Tao wasn’t an option) and it’s like 85 degrees in the middle of the night. madnesss. Tom, how long will you be doing Muay Thai? My boyfriend and I will both be on the Island from May 28th- August 20th. I’m doing the divemaster and IDC and he is doing 12 weeks of Muay Thai !
