Big 5 & Predator Sanctury South Africa Essential Info

Prepare to have an incredible gap year experience assisting in game monitoring, caring for lions and elephants in this incredible big 5 wildlife conservation sanctuary.
Work in an elephant sanctuary where you can look after tame elephants, learn about  predators at our educational and rehabilitation centre housing endangered species such as Bengal tigers and wild dogs. There is also a tger sanctuary, touch farm, reptile centre, aviary and sporting facilities.

This is also the only game reserve in South Africa that has a living village within the reserve. This allows volunteers to roam freely in the village without having to worry about any security issues, truly becoming involved with the local community.

Role of the Volunteer

During your stay you will be involved with feeding and monitoring  Africa’s Big 5 animals including elephants and lions. This might involve bottle feeding lion cubs and working with game rangers to release animals into reserves when ready.
Field work in the reserve.
