We know our trips are all amazing, but sometimes it is better to hear it from a past customer. Let Nicky tell you what she thought:
“In the week of 10 to 17 September I have been on the Melbourne Connexion from Xtreme Gap and I really loved it! Together with 3 others we were guided through Melbourne and I got to know the city quite well.
The whole week was filled with activities like walking tours, tasting trips, street art, the boat trip and a night on Phillip Island. We were guided by one of the people who arrange this locally and you can feel it’s their passion to help getting to know the city and feel at home. The whole week was perfectly arranged. On Monday they gave us a briefing about the whole week and this made it easy to get to know the others. Even though I was Dutch and the only non native English, they made me feel part of the group.
Realised that the whole week is full with activities and it’s long days, but I did not get bored at all and wasn’t tired. This is for sure with a big thank you to the guys and all arranged so well. Next to the great activities like kangaroo and koala petting (really awesome) they help you with making a good CV and finding a job. The whole Saturday is for administration and helping out with the travel plan. Sound boring but is actually very useful!
So, do you want to work in Australia and you have no idea where to start and how to begin? I really recommend to join the Melbourne Connexion. You meet nice people right away and it is for sure worth the money. So much is included, activities, tours, help with work, accommodation.
After this week I started travelling with 2 girls from the group (from Liverpool) along the eastcoast!
We will work along the way. I don’t even know the girls for 2 weeks yet, but it is so relaxed and nice. Realised
that everybody is like minded and most start this adventure alone.
With the Melbourne Connexion you have a great start, definitely worth it.
One more thing. Australia is super safe and a perfect country to travel on your own. Easy to travel.
So overall a great experience!”
