The whole experience sounds fantastic but you look as though you were no novice to begin with. I did about 1 year training once a week about 2 years ago and have not been in the ring. However, I know basic techniques and train at the gym fairly regularly. Most of my mates either do not have cash or cannot come due to other commitments – is this a place for single person? I’m guessing that there will be other like minded pep up for the challenge so am v. interested in a trip to thailand and specifically doing the 2 week training. For me it will be to improve my fitness, weight loss, and general sense of wellbeing… obviously if i think i’m up to it may also fight a pro. I work as a Network Engineer for a global finance services company and am not sure about an entire year abroad, unless of course considering to be a pro fighter… however being 29 i think that I would be grandad in terms of Muaytai. Anyhoo get in touch and let me know what you think. G
You are not a grand dad! You are young. I train Muay Thai just for fun, to keep fit, and I love it (36 years old). The island is full of people that want to enjoy live, so you are very welcome to join!
You can meet other travellers before you head off through our new travel forum. Once you book you also gain access to our buddy list system so you can chat with people on the same trip as you!
