Planning A USA Gap Year?

If you are planning on taking a USA gap year you need to move fast to avoid a sneaky fee.

From 9^th September 2010 there will be a charge of $14 (approx £9) for ESTA applications – ESTA is the electronic travel authority for the USA and must be obtained by everyone travelling to the USA and eligible for the visa waiver program, passengers holding visas for the USA don’t need to apply.

I highly recommend getting all travelers to apply for their ESTA prior to 9^th September to avoid the fee (it’s currently free of charge), ESTA is valid for 2 years from the date of application too.
