One man on a mission the road to Everest

Luke Richmond is a man on a serious mission to become the youngest Australian to climb the seven highest peaks on seven continents.

Luke has been training intensively at the Xtreme Gap Year Thailand Fitness Bootcamp in the run up to his first peak Aconcagua in Argentina.

Luke, an underground coal miner from Queensland is setting off to climb the seven highest peaks on seven continents, finishing with the mighty Mt Everest . Over the 18 month long challenge he is raising money for the Central Asia Institute, an NGO who promotes community based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of northern Pakistan and Afghanistan.
If successful Luke will be the youngest Australian to complete this feat and will join the elite list of those who have conquered the seven summits.
