Does the flooding affect my trip? The flooding in Thailand is no problem. Every week we have clients that go on trips to Thailand. In Koh Tao there have not been any flooding. The hotels we work in Bangkok are not located in the affected area.
Is a transfer included from Bangkok to Koh Tao? Yes, there is a transfer from Bangkok to Koh Tao included. We arrange that your transfer tickets are ready at the desk of the hotel in Bangkok. The night after arriving you will get on a overnight bus and then in the morning a few hours on the boat. Also the pick up from the pier on Koh Tao on your day of arrival is included. You also could fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui and take the ferry from there. You have to arrange it yourself. Make sure you arrive before 12 in the morning on Koh Samui otherwise you will miss you ferry to Koh Tao.
What do I do when I don’t have any experience in diving? In order to start with the underwater film making course, you need to have your Open Water (OW), Advanced Open Water (AOW), and 20 logged dives. Each day you make 4 dives. Each dive will take around 40 minutes. During the diving course you will dive every day. After 2 weeks you are ready to start with the underwater film making course. You will not dive every day during the underwater film making course as you do have, for example, video editing too. You will do this at the best location in Koh Tao. They also get assignments from National Geographic! In total you need 3.5 months for your OW and AOW and doing the underwater film making course.
