Beautiful Bali

Bali is a great place to head to on your Indonesia gap year. With Air Asia flight connections to Thailand and Australia it makes Bali an idea stop off point on your travels.

We think you will like Bali for many reasons, it is stunning island and very different from other islands in Indonesia, this is mainly due to the fact its a hindu dominated culture where as alot of Indoensia is Muslim.

Bali is a volcanic island with a lush vibrant green interior, rice paddies dominate the volcano slopes and jungle gives way to ocean all around. The beaches are mainly black sand, but the ocean is a great place to learn to surf and the hundreds of temples make the interior of the Island an enchanting place to discover.

The nightlife is pretty rampant in Kuta, not everyones cuppa tea so it is best to not be based there, a bit further up the coast it is generally more chilled an exposes you to the real Bali.

Combining a trip to the Gili Islands is also worth while so you can get the best of both worlds in one trip, the White Sandy paradise of the Gilis and the cultural beauty of Bali.
